I’ve tried copying perfect routines from successful people. Most of them failed. What works for me now is simpler and more honest.
What actually works:
Training early to win the day
Planning 3 priorities, not 10
Writing or creating before consuming content
Walking more to clear my head
What I still force (and struggle with):
Over-optimising my schedule
Expecting peak productivity daily
Being too hard on myself on low-energy days
I’ve learned that routines should support life, not suffocate it. Some days are productive. Some are maintenance days. Both matter.
Takeaway: A good routine adapts to your life, not the other way around.
